Emergency Road Closure - R445 Naas - Newbridge Rd

The R445, the old dual carriageway between Naas and Newbridge is closed to all traffic at present as a result of a gas leak. The road is closed between the Bundle of Sticks roundabout and Ladytown Crossroads. Major traffic disruption is expected and we would ask that people avoid the area.

Traffic from Newbridge is being diverted left at Ladytown towards Floods Cross and from the Bundle of Sticks onto the M7 motorway or right onto the Rathangan Road.

This is expected to last for several hours and it is possible that it will be overnight. 01 2019
