NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cork County Council is considering under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, the closing to public traffic of the following road for the date and for the times stated:-



Caheragh Vintage Threshing - R594-34 Caheragh Village

Sunday 8^th October 2017

(13.00hrs to 18.00hrs)

   Road To Be Closed:

The R594 from its junction with the L-8730-15 at Coarliss to its junction with the L-8734-0/L-8737-0 at Caheragh.

Road Number:

R594 (Part).



Alternative route:

Traffic travelling from Skibbereen to Bantry via the R594 to turn left onto the L-8730-15 at Coarliss, turn right onto the L-8731-0, turn left onto the L-8733-0, turn right onto the L-8734-0 and re-join the R594.



Traffic travelling from Bantry to Skibbereen via the R594 to turn left onto the L-8737-0 at Caheragh and continue straight onto the L-8280-0, turn right onto the L-4233-0 and re-join the R594.



NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate

Caheragh Vintage Threshing 2017

North Cork Athletic Club – Charleville Half Marathon



Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the Roads Act 1993 of the intention of Limerick City & County Council & Cork County Council to close the roads detailed hereunder at the specified locations and times on Sunday 17^th September 2017 to facilitate North Cork Athletic Club in the holding of the Charleville Half Marathon.

Cos. Limerick & Cork R515 from Charleville (junction with Clancy Terrace) to its junction with R512 at Sarsfield St., Kilmallock (Fitzgerald’s Corner). County Limerick: R512 (from its junction with R515 at Fitzgerald’s Corner to its junction with Glenfield Road at Catholic Church); L8576 (Glenfield Road). County Cork: L1316 (Bakers Lane between its junction with Railway Road, Charleville and its junction with R515 at Clancy Terrace.	Traffic from Charleville: Use L1317 (railway Road) onto N20 and via Charleville town to O’ Rourkes Cross, R518 via Bruree and R512 into Kilmallock Traffic from Kilmallock: Use R518 off R512 at North Bridge, Kilmallock via Bruree to O’ Rourkes Cross and N20 through Charleville.	From 09.30hrs to 12.15hrs on Sunday 17th September 2017

q  Local traffic will be accommodated where possible.

q  Diversions will be clearly signposted.

Bridge Replacement Works – L-5336 Gortroe North Bridge, Lombardstown, Mallow

From 08.00hrs Monday 4^th September to 18.00hrs Friday 27^th October 2017

(24 Hour Closure)



Road to be closed:

L5336 from its junction with the L5338 (west) to its junction with the L1209 (east).

Alternative Route:

Traffic travelling on the L1209, from the N72, remain on the L1209, divert onto the L1210, and onto the L5338 to rejoin the L5336.



The reverse applies to eastbound traffic travelling on the L5336.



 Local access will be maintained up to the works site.

L-2474-40 ‘Laurel Hill’ Rathanker, Monkstown from Ellis Cross (L-2481) to Johnson’s Cross (L-2483)

Traffic Travelling South shall divert via the L-2481 to the R610 and continue south until they can rejoin the L-2474.



Traffic Travelling Northwards shall divert along the R610 until they meet Carrigmahon Hill, take a left along the L-2480 and a right along the L-2481 until they can join the L-2474.
