TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS



Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-



Road Subject of Closure

L-3601 Midleton to Castlelyons Road - from Two Pot Cross Roads to 3 Crossroads at Ballyedmond, Midleton.



Period of Closure

From 08.30hrs on Tuesday 14th April, 2020 to 17.00hrs on Friday 8th May, 2020

(Daily Closure)



Reason for Closure

To facilitate Restoration Improvement Roadworks from Walshtown Bridge to Oldcourt East.



Alternative Routes

Travelling Southbound from Castlelyons detour from Two Pot Cross via the L-3600 and L-3800 to Dungourney village. In Dungourney village join the R-627 to Midleton Town.



This alternative route is also applicable in reverse.



Local access maybe accommodated when works allow. The works are weather dependant and will be carried out over a numbers of days during the Temporary Road Closure period and at other times the road will remain open.

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-



Road Subject of Closure

L1428 – section of Mulberry Road, Brigown, Mitchelstown.



Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Tuesday 7th April, 2020 to 18.00hrs on Wednesday 8th April, 2020 (24hr Closure)



Reason for Closure

To facilitate Irish Water Sewer Connection



Alternative Routes

Traffic travelling North shall continue North West on the L1418, divert Northwards onto Upper Cork Street on the R513-137, turning eastwards at Lower Cork Street onto the Clonmel Road on the R665-15 to destination.



The description in reverse for travel in the opposite direction.



Local access will be facilitated where possible throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROAD ROADS ACT, 1993-2015, (SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT 1993) ROADS REGULATIONS, 1994NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing: ROADS TO BE CLOSED:L8014-01 at Ballygemmane, Thurles PERIOD OF CLOSURE:08:00hrs on Tuesday 14 April 2020 to 18:00hrs on Friday 17 April 2020.ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:Traffic travelling from Thurles on the L8015-0 intending to use the L8014-01 will be diverted along the L8015-0, L8015-18, and L3650-01 onto the L8014-0.Traffic travelling along the L8014-0 from the Two Mile Borris intending to use the L8014-01 will be diverted along the L8014-0 will be directed along the L8014-0 and diverted onto the L3650-0, L8015 onto the L8015-0.Traffic Management will be in place and operatives at each end of the L8014-01 road closure to allow local access and to advise of diversions in place.REASON FOR CLOSURE:To facilitate the installation of ESB Ducting to the ESB Station.
