Leak detection works may cause supply disruptions to Clogheen Village, Ballyboy, Mount Anglesby and surrounding areas in Co. Tipperary.

Works are scheduled to take place until 5pm on 21 September.

INTENTION TO CLOSE THE R497 AT XC133 GRANGE LEVEL CROSSING,GRANGE,CO.TIPPERARY

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROAD
ROADS ACT, 1993-2015,
(SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT 1993)
ROADS REGULATIONS, 1994.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED:
R497 at XC133 Grange Level Crossing, Grange, Co. Tipperary.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE:
05:00hrs on Saturday 26 November 2022 to 00:00hrs on Sunday 27 November 2022.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
Traffic travelling from Tipperary town on the R497 will be diverted towards Dundrum at Rosanna Road cross roads onto the R661 and R505.
Traffic travelling from Donohill will be diverted towards Dundrum on the R505 and R661 to Tipperary Town.
REASON FOR CLOSURE:
To carry out railway track improvement works.
Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures,Roads,Transportation & Infrastructure. Tipperary County Councils,Civic Offices,Limerick Road,Nenagh. Temporary Traffic Management on the L-1501 The Green Cashel (Old Cahir Road Junction to entrance to Hospital).
From the 26th of September to 30th of September 2022, from 07.00hrs to 17.00hrs.
to facilitate foothpath improvement works being carried out.
Tipperary County Council would like to apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
