ROADS ACT, 1993

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

 

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

 

 

Road Subject of Closure

L1408-13, (Part of) Ballydeloughy, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.

 

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Monday 27th June 2022 to 17.00hrs on Friday 1st July 2022.

(24hr Closure).

 

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the installation of a cattle underpass.

 

Alternative Routes

Southbound Traffic – via L-5617-0 Blackroad to L5638-0 Nutgrove.

Northbound Traffic – via L-5640-0 through Ballindangan (L1409-26) on to L5639-0 Ballydeloughy.

 

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
