Easter Weekend Road Safety Message

Road Alert, Apr. 2nd 2026
Easter Weekend Road Safety Message: Remember safe journeys start with all of us.

As we head into the Easter weekend, with increased traffic and people spending more time outdoors, all road users are reminded to travel safely and with care.

Drivers are asked to slow down, obey speed limits, and remain alert at all times, particularly in residential areas and at pedestrian crossings.

Pedestrians and cyclists are encouraged to stay visible, use designated crossings where available, and remain attentive when near traffic at all times.

Everyone has a role to play in keeping our roads safe this Easter. By taking a few extra moments and making safe choices, we can all help ensure an enjoyable and safe weekend for families and communities across the county this Easter.

Remember safe journeys start with all of us.
