Scoil an Linbh Íosa Safe Routes to School, Prosperous – Commencement of Construction
Kildare County Council wish to inform the public that works will commence on the Scoil an Linbh Íosa Safe Routes to School Scheme in Prosperous during the week of the 06 July 2026.
It is expected that the works will continue throughout the months of July and August. Local access will be accommodated at all times.
A temporary one-way system is to be put in place outside of Scoil an Linbh Íosa on the L-6002 for a two-week period.
Southbound traffic to access L-6002 to divert via Downings North, Turn onto L-7081 (Maxol Service Station) and continue to junction of L7081 & L6001 (Caragh GAA Club) turn left onto L6001. Continue on L6001 to Junction of L6001 & L6002 to access Curryhills. Northbound traffic is unaffected.
