Road Closure Dunmore East 17/6/2017

Notice is hereby given that Waterford City & County Council, will close the following roads, temporarily, from 11.00am to 1.00pm on Saturday 17th June, 2017 to facilitate the Hook or by Crook Sprint Triathlon in Dunmore East, Co. Waterford.
Road to be Closed:
Curraghmore Terrace from its junction with the R684, part of Glenville Terrace, and along Wellington Terrace to Dunmore East Golf Club. 
Diversion Route:
Driving from Waterford turn left at Gaultier Cross (where the R684 meets the R685) and turn right at Fairybush cross along the L4075 Leckaun Road (Killea Road) to Lower village Dunmore East and from Gaultier Cross along the R684, through Leperstown, Ballymabin and Dock Road to upper village Dunmore East.

Waterford City & County Council wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Major Roadworks - N25 Rosslare Harbour to Kilrane

From tonight, Monday the 12th of June from 19:00 to 07:00 (Nightworks) for the next 4 weeks.

There will be Major Road Resurfacing works on the N25 between Rosslare Harbour and Kilrane Village from this evening, Monday the 12th of June for the next 4 weeks. The main resurfacing works will take place between the hours of 19:00 to 07:00 (Nightworks) but it may be necessary to undertake some minor works during the daytime. Stop and Go Traffic management will be in operation for the duration of the works and delays can be expected.

These works are weather dependant and as such the completion dates and working hours may be subject to change.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cork County Council is considering under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, the closing to public traffic of the following road for the date and for the times stated:-



Laying of Foul Sewer – R613 Church Road, Carrigaline

From 20.00hrs Monday 17th July 2017 to 06.30hrs Friday 1st September 2017

(Night Time Closure Only 20.00hrs to 06.30hrs -Road fully opened to traffic outside of these hours)



Road to be closed:

Section of Church Road, Carrigaline

Alternative Routes:

Traffic travelling in a Westerly Direction along R-613 should divert onto R-612 at its junction with the R-613, travel in a northerly direction along the bypass road and turn left onto R-611 (Cork Road). They should proceed in southerly direction until they reach the roundabout junction of the R-611/R-613. They should take the third exit at this roundabout to rejoin the R-613.



Traffic approaching the closed section of roadway from the west on the R-613 and travelling in an easterly direction should take the first exit on the roundabout, proceed in a northerly direction on the R-611 until they reach the roundabout, they should then take the third exit onto the R-612 (Bypass Road) and proceed in an easterly and then southerly direction to rejoin the R-613 at the junction of the R612/ R613.



NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate Laying of Foul Sewer



Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of these roads, with the undersigned not later than Wednesday 14th June 2017 at 5pm.

Laying of Foul Sewer – R612 Bother Guidel Road, Carrigaline

From 20.00hrs Monday 10th July 2017 to 06.30hrs Friday 21st July 2017

(Night Time Closure Only 20.00hrs to 06.30hrs -Road fully opened to traffic outside of these hours)



Road to be closed:

Section of Bothar Guidel (R612) from junction of R612 and R613 Crossroads to Roundabout at Lidl (R612)

Alternative Route:

Traffic intending to travel North on R612 from Crosshaven should follow diversion signage and take second exit off the roundabout (Lidl Roundabout) and continue to the junction of the L2547 and Main Street, Carrigaline. They should turn right onto Main Street and proceed in a northerly direction to rejoin the Cork Road.



Traffic intending to travel South to Crosshaven on R612 should turn right at the junction of the R612 and divert westwards along the R613 (Church Road) they should exit at the roundabout onto main street (R611) and follow the diversion signs to rejoin the R612 South of the proposed closed section.



Traffic travelling along the R613 in either a Westerly or Easterly direction, intending to travel in the Crosshaven direction should proceed to the Roundabout (junction of the R613/ R611) and divert onto Main Street (R611) cross over the bridge and turn left towards the R612 (Crosshaven Road).



NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate Laying of Foul Sewer.

Traffic heading Southbound on the R610 wishing to access Assumption Villas should take the first exit off the roundabout and proceed via St. Marys Terrace onto Assumption Villas.





This closure is to facilitate ESB Ducting Works.
