TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

 

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

 

Road Subject of Closure

L-1223-66, (Section of), Ballymacoy, Killavullen, Co. Cork.

 

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Monday 3rd October 2022 to 17.00hrs on Friday 14th October 2022.  (24hr Closure).

 

Reason for Closure

To facilitate the repair and rebuild of a section of a collapsed bridge wall.

 

Alternative Routes

Approaching from the east, divert north via Killavullen Village along the L1226-0, divert west along the N72 to Beecher Street, Mallow, continue south over Mallow Bridge via the R620-28 and east onto the L1223-0.

 

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council will close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

 

Road Subject of Closure

L-5303, Scart, Co. Cork – Derryorgan to Ballyclough Village via Scart.

 

Period of Closure

From 08:00hrs on Monday 10th October 2022 to 18:00hrs on Friday 25th November 2022.

(24hr Closure).

 

Reason for Closure

To facilitate Installation of new watermain.

 

Alternative Routes

In Ballyclough Village continue on the LP-1204-0, LP-1203-30 and LP 1205-41 through the Village towards Lisleagh.  At Lisleagh take the L-5304-0 and at the end of this road turn left onto the L-5302-28.

 

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

 

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Alternative Routes

At Knuttery Bridge take the LP-1219-34 and LS-5399-17 to Knockanannig Cross, turn left onto the LS-5391-0 to Knockbrack.

 

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

 

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

N73 Road Closure, Mallow-Mitchelstown

N73 Road will be closed from Olivers Cross (N72 Mallow) to junction R639 (Mitchelstown Relief Rd), 28 Sept 22 - 15 March 23 to facilitate road widening. Diversions will be in place to direct traffic along alternative routes.

Temporary Closing of Roads – Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)

 

Longford County Council hereby gives notice that it has made an Order to close the road described hereunder,

 

Road for Closure:     Rue Noyal Chatillon (L-3017) from Ardrum Court to the Junction with Grafton Court (L-3019).

 

Date of Closure:        Monday 26th September 2022 to Friday 21st October 2022

 

Hours of Closure:     24 hours

                                   

Detour Route:            Via Alternative Local Routes.

 

This closure is to facilitate improvement works as part of the Town Centre Public Realm Upgrade Works currently ongoing.

 

The road named above will be fully closed to traffic.  No access will be facilitated at this Junction during Road Closures.

 

Pedestrian access will be accommodated.
