NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:







Road to be Closed:

The L-2467-0, Old Carrigaline Road, from its junction with the L-2468-0, East Douglas Street, to its junction with the R609 Carrigaline Road



Road Number:

L-2467-0 (Part).



Alternative Route:

Traffic wishing to travel north from Carrigaline Road to East Douglas Street to continue north east along R609. At the Finger Post Roundabout take the 1st exit onto R610 Douglas Relief road. Take second exit at roundabout at Douglas Court Shopping Centre and take next left onto L2468 East Douglas Street.







This closure is to facilitate road reconstruction & resurfacing works

Alternative Route:

From Clonakilty travelling east to Lackenduff: Divert onto the L-4019-0 at Darrara Old School and travel east along the L-4019 to its junction with L-4021 at Aghawadda Cross. Turn right onto the L-4021 and travel south along the L-4021 to its junction with the L4018-16 at Old School House Cross. Turn right onto the L4018-16 and travel west along the L4018-16 to its junction with the L4020 at Lackenduff House.



This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Lackenduff  to Clonakilty.





This closure is to facilitate Road Drainage and Reconstruction works.

The L-8031-0 from its junction with the L-4008-18 and L-40083-0 at the cross roads at Camus to its junction with the L-4009-0 and L-4006-23 at the cross roads at Donoure.

Alternative Route:

From Camus Cross Roads to Fisher’s Cross Roads (Donoure) via L-4008-18 south west to Kilkeran. At junction turn right onto L-4009-0. At the cross roads at Donoure turn right onto L-4006-23 and continue to Fisher’s Cross Roads.



This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Fisher’s Cross Roads to Camus Cross Roads.



This closure is to facilitate installation of a new watermain.

Rathcormack to Midleton via the R639. At Rathcormack Bridge turn left onto R626. At Ballinterry turn left onto R628. At Leary’s Cross turn right onto L-1526-0. At Kilcor North continue straight ahead to join L-1526-9. At Curraghdermot Cross Roads continue straight ahead to join L-3600-0. At Two Pot Cross Roads turn right onto L-3601-0. Continue straight through Peafield Cross Roads to join L-3601-29. Continue straight ahead to join L-3601-53. At Oldcourt East continue straight onto L-3601-85. Continue south along L-3601-85 to re-join R626 at Carrigogna. Turn left onto R626 and continue south east to Midleton.



This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Midleton to Rathcormack.



This closure is to facilitate 32^nd annual playing of King & Queen of the Roads (International Road Bowling Festival).

Alternative route:

Travelling from Leamlara to Watergrasshill, turn right and travel east along the L3604 to Lisgoold. Turn left onto the R626, continue north to Rathcormac, turn left onto the R639, continue south to Watergrasshill, turn left onto the L1524 and continue northeast over the Meenane Bridge, take the  2^nd Exit on the Roundabout onto the L1540 and continue south to Watergrasshill.



This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Watergrasshill to Leamlara.





This closure is to facilitate Road Resurfacing Works.
